Hi friends, thanks for stopping by to read about me, my name is Roux and I am a lovely little boy who came to Celia Cross after being found a stray.
For the past month I have been spending this lock-down in a foster home with one of our amazing volunteers. She has showed me all about home living and taught me lots about how to be a good boy! So far I have learnt how to sit on command, to sit and wait for my breakfast and dinner, and I have even started a little bit of recall training!
My foster mum says that I behave very well in the home, I have quickly learnt to toilet outside, and although I sometimes hoard household items in my bed I have not been destructive.
One of my favourite things in the world is going on walks to meet other dogs! I've been told I walk nicely on a lead and show good manners when meeting new dogs. I can get a bit over the top and rough if I try to play, but with continued socialisation I am sure I will learn quickly.
You should also know that I am a total lovebug! I follow my foster mum around a lot and lap up all the cuddles that come my way. After a day full of playtime and walks I love nothing more than snuggling up on the sofa to watch a bit of TV - the shows with animals are particularly interesting!
Due to my inquisitive, confident personality I will do well in almost any type of home. I could live with or without another dog, id like to live with teenager instead of young children as I'm quite excitable. So if you think I could be the one for you please give the kennels a ring to arrange a meeting with me! I just know that we'll be the best of friends!
